Consideration of the case of the Borovikov-Voevodina gang in St. Petersburg
On September 28, 2009, the jury of the City Court of St. Petersburg, considering the case of the Borovikov-Voevodin gang, began to investigate the circumstances of the murder in June 2004 of the famous St. Petersburg scientist Nikolai Girenko. At the meeting, one of the defendants, Andrei Kostrachenkov, and the victim, the daughter of the scientist Ekaterina Kalinina, were interrogated. Kostrachenkov, said that the idea of the murder was put forward by Borovikov.
