In Pereslavl-Zalessky, police beat an Armenian
In September 2009, in Pereslavl-Zalessky (Yaroslavl region), two policemen severely beat an Armenian. The Armenian hit a passer-by with his shoulder, and he called for help his acquaintances - 23-year-old policeman-driver Alexei Bakulin and 22-year-old private security officer Vsevolod Degtyarev. The policemen said that "a Caucasian, unlike the native Yaroslavl, should not walk down the street late at night ," and began to beat the man. They also took away the victim's mobile phone.
