On December 8, V.P. Zavalsky, a resident of Novokuibyshevsk, Samara region, was sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 1 year and 4 months, suspended for a period of 1 year. The court imposed such punishment on him for threatening Jehovah's Witnesses. Preachers came to his house, Zavalsky invited them to enter, after which he began brandishing a knife and threatening violence.
