In the Amur region, a case of racist murder has been brought to court
On January 12, 2010, in Blagoveshchensk (Amur Region), a criminal case against a 23-year-old local resident accused under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim, committed on the basis of national hatred). According to the investigation, in September 2009, a group of young men, including the accused, attacked two elderly Chinese natives and beat them with bats.
