At the Bishops' Conference taking place in Moscow, Patriarch Kirill announced statistical data on the Russian Orthodox Church. At the beginning of 2010, the Moscow Patriarchate includes 30,142 parishes (in December 2008 there were 29,263), a total of 160 dioceses (there were 157), 207 bishops (there were 203), the total number of clergy is 32,266 people (30 670 years ago). During 2009, the number of parishes increased by almost 900, and the number of clergy - by 1.5 thousand people.
