The European Court has opened proceedings on the complaint of National Bolshevik Andrei Nikitin
On February 18, 2010, lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky, representing the interests of the National Bolshevik Andrei Nikitin, the first convicted for participation in the activities of the NBP banned for extremism, announced that proceedings had been initiated on his complaint at the European Court of Human Rights. Nikitin, we recall, was convicted under Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced to a year of imprisonment on probation.
