On April 10, a rally was held in Yekaterinburg against the construction of another Orthodox church in the city center, on Labor Square. According to various sources, the rally was attended by 4,000 to 6,000 people (according to the application, 2,000 people were planned). At the rally, signatures were collected under an appeal to the authorities of the region and to the Archbishop of Yekaterinburg and Verkhotursk Vincent with an appeal to preserve Labor Square.
