On May 6, 2010, a cassation appeal was sent to the Kirov Regional Court against the verdict of the Leninsky District Court against the "ideologist of neo-paganism" Alexei Dobrovolsky (Dobroslav). From May 1, the complex of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Mirozhsky Monastery in Pskov was transferred to the free use of the Russian Orthodox Church. On May 7, 2010, the Blagoveshchensk City Court of the Amur Region sentenced 23-year-old resident of the city Kirill Arnautov under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, committed on the basis of national hatred, negligently resulting in the death of the victim). The court sentenced Arnautov to 8 years in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony.

At the beginning of May 2010, in the city of Seversk (Tomsk Region), a case was submitted to the Tomsk Garrison Military Court against a 28-year-old platoon commander of a military unit, Senior Lieutenant Yevgeny Khalepchuk, who was accused of inciting ethnic hatred.
