Nikita Tikhonov was cleared of charges of involvement in the murder of Alexander Ryukhin
On June 21, 2010, the leader of the Russian Verdict project, Alexei Baranovsky, told the media that Nikita Tikhonov, who was detained on suspicion of the murder of lawyer S. Markelov and journalist A. Baburova, was cleared of involvement in the murder of anti-fascist Alexander Ryukhin in 2006. The reason for this, according to Baranovsky, was that the neo-Nazis already convicted in this case in 2007 did not identify Tikhonov as an accomplice.
