In June 2010, the confrontation continued between representatives of the Saratov branch of the United Russia party and the deputy of the Saratov City Duma, businessman Leonid Feitlicher. Most of the materials to which both sides appealed were (and remain) inaccessible to us, and the legal battles were not formally conducted on “extremist” issues. The chronology of events is as follows.

On June 8, 2010, the Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow began considering a lawsuit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation to recognize a certain site as extremist (unfortunately, it is not specified which one). The Internet resource itself is hosted by a Ukrainian hosting provider, but it is registered in the "RU" domain zone. Apparently, therefore, the defendant in the case is the Regional Network Information Center, which carries out this registration.

On June 21, 2010, the Directorate of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District published a brief report on oversight activities for the implementation of anti-extremist legislation in the media and the Internet. In particular, in the first months of 2010, the district prosecutors filed two applications for the recognition of materials as extremist.
