June 21, 2010 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, criminal cases were initiated under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (call for extremist activity) and under Part 1 of Art. 282 (inciting hatred). The reason for this was the inscriptions that appeared on the walls of three buildings in the city, which were qualified by law enforcement agencies as extremist. Unfortunately, we do not know their contents. So far, no one has been arrested in this case.
