On September 9, 2010 representatives of the Evangelical Church Exodus Christians handed out business cards of rehabilitation centers for drug addicts next to the market near the Prazhskaya metro station in Moscow. They were approached people in the uniform of security guards took away business cards and, threatening, demanded to move away from market and "do not interfere with business." Then they started beating Pentecostals. As a result of the attack, one of the pastors had a broken nose.

On September 7, 2010, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation refused to satisfaction of a private complaint of the German religious publishing house Wachtturm Bibel- und Traktat-Gesellschaft der Zeugen Jehovas, who challenged the decision of the Rostov of the regional court on the recognition of 34 publications of Jehovah's Witnesses as extremist.

On September 10, 2010, the Moscow prosecutor’s office demanded that the Interregional Public Association “Format-18” be recognized as extremist and its activities banned. The corresponding statement was sent to the Moscow City Court. By decision of the prosecutor's office, the organization's activities were suspended.

On September 7, 2010, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Dagestan refused to satisfaction of the claim of the territorial department of Roskomnadzor for Dagestan and Dagestan Prosecutor's Office on the closure of the newspaper "Chernovik". Recall that the proceedings on the claim began in June 2009, but it was suspended pending the results of the examination. September 6, 2010 court resumed consideration.

On August 26, 2010, a meeting of the diocesan teachers' council was held in Smolensk. During the meeting, the results of the work on preparing the teaching of “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” in secondary schools were announced: in 2010/2011, this subject was included as a compulsory subject in the curriculum of 80 schools in the region. Previously, this course was taught in a number of schools as an elective.

On September 10, 2010, a conflict broke out in the Moscow metro between two newcomers from Dagestan (21 and 23 years old) and two brothers from Orel (22 and 28 years old). The conflict flared up due to the fact that the Orlovites began to shout racist insults at the Dagestanis. The verbal skirmish escalated into a fight, during which one of the Dagestanis took out a traumatic pistol and fired three shots at the enemy.

The Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia provided statistical information about administrative cases in relation to members of this organization, initiated in 2010. As of September, 116 cases had been opened, out of 32 of them - under Art. 20.29. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (distribution and storage of extremist materials). In September 2010, a criminal case was initiated in Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory) under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred).
