In Khakassia, the prosecutor's office involved religious organizations, including Jehovah's Witnesses, in the fight against extremism
On November 23, 2010, employees of the prosecutor's office of Chernogorsk (Republic of Khakassia) held a meeting with representatives of religious organizations. Among the invitees were members of the parish of the Mother of God-Nativity Church of the Russian Orthodox Church, Muslim community, Evangelical Church Baptist Christians, the Evangelical Lutheran community, and Jehovah's Witnesses. The meeting was dedicated to crime prevention, committed on the basis of national and religious hatred.
