On February 2, 2011, Patriarch Kirill made a presentation at Bishops' Cathedral in Moscow. The report included, in particular, statistical information. “Today in the Russian Orthodox Church there are 164 dioceses, 217 ruling and vicar bishops, 30675 parishes, 29324 priests, 3850 deacons. Operate 805 monasteries, including 398 male and 407 female monasteries,” the patriarch said.
