Attempted arson at an Orthodox church in Moscow
At night on September 18, 2011 in Moscow, unknown persons attempted to set fire to the temple St. Euphrosyne in Kotlovka. According to the rector of the church, Archpriest Alexei Ladygin, the watchman heard the sounds of breaking glass, after which he found on the wall temple traces of a liquid with the smell of gasoline and fragments of three bottles on the ground. Arriving on a call, police officers found at the scene rag soaked in gasoline. The fire didn't happen.
