February 18, 2012 in Moscow, there was an attack on a native of Nigeria. The Nigerian worked near the Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad metro station and handed out flyers. He was driven away by a 25-30-year-old young man. To avoid conflict, the Nigerian went to another entrance, where he was attacked by two young men. The attackers sprayed the black man with gasoline in the eyes and head, shouted racist insults. The victim managed to pull out and run away.

On February 18, 2012, a rally and a march of nationalists “Mirzaev must sit!” took place in the center of Moscow. The audience demanded to punish the athlete Rasul Mirzaev , accused of murdering 19-year-old Ivan Agafonov. The rally at Chistye Prudy was coordinated with the city authorities, about 200-300 people took part in it.
