On February 24, 2012, another attack on two medical students from Malaysia ( the first attack occurred on 12 February). Young people returning to the hostel were attacked by six teenagers. Shouting the slogan "Russia for the Russians," they threw the foreigners on ground and beat them. The students were taken to the hospital, their condition was rated by doctors as moderate. Four of the six suspects were taken into custody by the police traces. They were underage local residents.

As it became known on February 27, 2012, the Multinational Movement Tatarstan "Consent" issued a statement that the center for extremism Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan has created a list of local extremists, which included the organizers of the action "For Fair Elections". According to the movement, the so-called "list of thirty" includes well-known sociologists, political scientists and public activists in the republic.

On February 26, 2012, a criminal case was initiated in Moscow on the fact of the punk action in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement).

On February 27, 2012, the results of the survey “Why do Russians come to church?”, Conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center on February 18-19 in 138 settlements in 46 subjects of the federation, were published. According to the study, since 1996 the number of those attending temples (including mosques, synagogues) has increased from 57 to 71%. Of these, 7% go at least once a month, 30% go from time to time, and 34% rarely go.

On February 22, 2012, the Federal Court of the Sovetsky District of Samara passed a verdict against Samara resident Yu. Kiryanov, found guilty under Art. 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberately false report of a terrorist act). The court found that in July 2011, Yu. Kiryanov, “on the basis of personal hostility,” twice reported to the police about the mining of a Baptist church.

On February 21, 2012, public hearings on the construction of an Orthodox church were held in Zelenograd (Staroye Kryukovo microdistrict). On February 24, 2012, an open statement of the Slavic Legal Center was published "in connection with the increasing cases of incitement of inter-religious enmity and hatred in our country, insulting the religious feelings of believers." The reason was the action of the group "Pussy Riot" in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The authors of the statement put this action on a par with the burning of churches and posting "anti-sectarian" leaflets.

On February 13, 2012, a suspect was detained in Moscow for committing a racist attack that occurred on May 26 in the Moscow metro. He turned out to be a 25-year-old neo-Nazi, a resident of the city of Khimki. During the search, stickers with Nazi symbols, videos of the banned Russian National Union (RONS), and far-right literature were confiscated. The court decided to leave the young man under arrest. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 2 of Art.

At the end of February 2012, it became known that the building of the former Edinoverie Spaso-Preobrazhensky Church was put up for sale in Kazan. In a building ready for sale, a resident of the city accidentally discovered frescoes and reported this to the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments. After that, the advertisements for the sale of the building disappeared.
