The Council on Public Television included representatives of Islam and the Russian Orthodox Church
July 18, 2012 President of the Russian Federation signed a decree approving the Public Television Council. Part council included cultural figures, journalists, representatives of religious organizations. Among them, the priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, Fr. Maxim Kozlov, Chairman of the Synodal Information Department Vladimir Legoyda, Head Orthodox Human Rights Center "Territory of the Church" Alexander Shchipkov, as well as the rector Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin.
