The Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church divided the Tobolsk, Murmansk, Kaluga and Barnaul dioceses
At the next meeting of the Synod, the next dioceses were divided. 2 October 2013, a regular meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox churches. The Synod singled out new dioceses from the Tobolsk, Murmansk, Kaluga and Barnaul dioceses. From the composition of the Tobolsk diocese was allocated Ishimskaya diocese, from the Murmansk diocese - North Sea, from the Barnaul diocese - Gornoaltai, from the Kaluga diocese - Kozelsk and Pesochensk eparchies.
