In late January and early February 2014, FSB officers carried out several searches and interrogations of Falun Gong members in Tuva, Abakan (Khakassia) and Nizhny Novgorod. On January 21, 2014, in Tuva, three Falun Gong members were interrogated by FSB in connection with the organization of the screening of the film "Free China: Courage believe" (directed by Michael Perelman) in one of the city's schools. The interrogation lasted about 8 hours.

Well-known writers turned to Vladimir Putin with a demand to abandon the reform of legislation in the field of freedom of speech and freedom of conscience. On February 6, 2014 famous writers of the world addressed with an open letter to the President of Russia, in which they demand to abandon laws that stifle freedom of speech. It's about new laws about feelings believers, about propaganda of homosexuality and slander.

On January 29, 2014, the Belgorod court recognized the Occupy-Pedophilia! Belgorod" in the social network "VKontakte" extremist. The Oktyabrsky District Court of Belgorod recognized as extremist the materials of the Occupy-Pedophilia! Belgorod" in the social network "VKontakte". In November 2013, an appeal was sent to the Belgorod prosecutor's office with a complaint about the content of the post on the community wall.
