On April 23, 2014, at about 17:00 in Yekaterinburg, near the Drama Theater, a group of young people attacked two "informals". The attackers took away a jacket from one of the young people, took off the earrings from the other and cut off the dreadlocks. The attackers then fled the scene. According to the victims, the robbers had short hair, dressed in sportswear, some of them had tattoos with Nazi symbols. The victims called the police.

In April 2014, a resident of Syktyvkar (Komi Republic) was sentenced to 120 hours of compulsory labor for an anti-Semitic comment on the website of an online publication. The justice of the peace of the Oktyabrsky judicial district of Syktyvkar considered the criminal case against 57-year-old Alexander Sivergin. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred and enmity committed publicly with the use of the media).
