Members of a group that attacked natives of Vietnam and South Africa were sentenced in Astrakhan
On January 22, 2016, members of the group were convicted in Astrakhan for a series of hate-motivated attacks. On January 22, 2016, the Investigative Committee for the Astrakhan Region announced that the court had convicted Vladislav Lepsky, Roman Stryuchin and Alexander Konovalov. Depending on the role of each, they were found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 282.1 (participation in an extremist community), paragraph "c" part 2 of Art. 282 (inciting national hatred), paragraph "b" part 2 of Art.
