On July 26, 2016, the official representative of Roskomnadzor, Vadim Ampelonsky, announced that the popular anonymizer "Chameleon" (cameleo.ru) was included in the Unified Register of Banned Sites. The decision of the Sarapulsky District Court of the Udmurt Republic dated May 10, 2016 became the basis for the inclusion of one of the largest anonymizers in Russia in the register.
