June 26, 2017 at the Sakharov Center, the director of the SOVA Center Alexander Verkhovsky gave a lecture "Criminalization of crimes hatred". The lecture was devoted to how the OSCE countries work with crimes hate. The Supreme Court of Chuvashia approved the decision of the district court, which fined Cheboksary resident Semyon Kochkin under Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offences. On June 29, 2017, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Chuvashia confirmed the decision of the Moskovsky District Court of Cheboksary, which at the end of May 2017 found the coordinator of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Open Russia activist Semyon Kochkin guilty under Art.

In the Khanty-Mansi diocese, following the example of Yekaterinburg, they began collecting signatures for banning the film “Matilda”. Deans must report the number of collected signatures to the diocesan administration. At the end of June 2017, it became known about an attempt by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Augsburg Confession to sue two buildings from the administration of Voronezh. In 2008, after a long conflict, the church building was handed over to believers . However, the community claims two more buildings that historically belonged to the Lutherans and from the Soviet time used by the Gorelektroset enterprise.

In June 2017, in Arkhangelsk, a 45-year-old local resident was sentenced to 3 years in prison on probation for posting xenophobic comments on a social media news site. In June 2017, the Isakogorsk District Court of Arkhangelsk delivered a verdict in the case of inciting ethnic and religious hatred (Part 1, Article 282 of the Criminal Code).

The Lutherans of Voronezh found a bundle near the building of the church, resembling an explosive device. In the community, the incident is regarded as an attempt to intimidate believers who demand that the authorities hand over two buildings to them. On June 23, 2017, unknown people planted a dummy explosive devices to the church building.

The police major extorted a bribe from the mother of a teenager, threatening to initiate proceedings against him under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code. On June 29, 2017 it became known that on May 31, 2017 the Central District Court of Togliatti sentenced Alexei Sukhodeev, Major police, former senior operative of the 3rd department of the Samara regional CPE, to five years in prison in a strict regime colony under paragraph "b" part 5 Art.

On June 21, 2017, the Moscow Arbitration Court considered SOVA Center’s case against Google, and ruled against satisfying this claim. SOVA Center demanded that Google restore the addresses of two news pieces from SOVA Center’s website concerning the punishments for racially motivated violence. These web addresses were deleted from the search engine’s system.

In Samara, a case has been opened against a local resident suspected of posting xenophobic materials on a social network. In June 2017, the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Samara Region opened a criminal case against a local resident, suspected under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred or enmity).
