At the end of July 2019, in Rostov-on-Don, an unknown person splashed a caustic liquid in the face of an activist who was standing in a solo picket against violence against LGBT people. On July 31, 2019, a homophobic attack was committed against activist Anna Dvornichenko in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

For July 2019, we are aware of only one victim from hate-motivated attack in Nizhny Novgorod. Total since the beginning of the year racist violence killed four people and beaten or injured 17, two people received serious death threats. These incidents were recorded in 13 regions of Russia. The public activity of nationalists in July was mainly associated with municipal elections in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
