Bokova's bill on protecting children from harmful information was withdrawn after negative feedback from the government
In July, amendments to the law on the protection of children from harmful information were withdrawn, and amendments to fines under Art. 6.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. On July 11, 2019, the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Issues withdrew from consideration the draft law on changing the legislation on protecting children from harmful information, introduced at the beginning of the year by Senator Lyudmila Bokova and supported by a group of deputies.
