Sergei Tolstonozhenko and Tatyana Feruleva became defendants in the case of involvement in the activities of an extremist organization. On October 2, 2019, a criminal case was opened in Krasnoyarsk under Part 1.1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (involvement in the activities of an extremist organization) in relation to two followers of Jehovah’s Witnesses: Sergei Tolstonozhenko and Tatyana Feruleva.

The Samara Regional Court sent Alexander Kruglov's case for a new trial.
