By the second reading, the text of the draft law on prohibited symbols has undergone significant changes. On November 7, 2019, the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption proposed to adopt in the second reading a bill changing the federal laws "On Perpetuating the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and "On Counteracting Extremist Activity" in the field of rules for displaying Nazi symbols and forbidden symbols.

8 November 2019, it became known that the residents of Sol-Iletsk, Orenburg Region, are dissatisfied construction of the Church of the Resurrection of the Word in the square of the Revolutionaries.
