A CSKA fan fined for his own poem appealed to the ECHR
Yevgeny Ogurtsov, who was fined for inciting hatred against Spartak, believes that Russia violated his right to freedom of expression. On November 18, 2019, it became known that a 28-year-old resident of Novocheboksarsk, Yevgeny Ogurtsov, applied to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in connection with his prosecution under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity on the basis of belonging to a social group).
