Criminal case against Jehovah's Witnesses in the Khabarovsk Territory
Believers are accused of creating an extremist organization, participating in it and recruiting. On June 4, 2020, it became known that another criminal case had been opened in the Khabarovsk Territory against followers of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses. 68-year-old Yong Sen Lee is charged under Parts 1 and 1.1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization and recruitment into it). 19-year-old Yegor Baranov is charged under Part 2 of Art.
