The Department of Urban Development of Samara intends to demolish the church at Mekhzavod as an illegal building. On June 3, 2020, it became known that the State Inspectorate Construction Supervision of the Samara Region sent a notification to the Department of Urban Planning about the discovery in Samara of an unauthorized construction - a church building on Mekhzavod. The department intends to go to court with a claim for the demolition of the church.

Hosters are obligated to block sites, the decision to terminate access to which was made out of court. On June 8, 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law obliging hosting providers to carry out out-of-court blocking. The relevant amendments to the federal law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection" were adopted by the State Duma on May 27, 2020.

In terms ofideologically motivated vandalism, May 2020 saw the desecration of a Muslimcemetery in Surgut. In this year so far, we are aware of 12 such instances ofvandalism.

The nationalist was found guilty of illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation. On June 8, 2020, the Leningrad Regional Court found Vyacheslav Datsik guilty under Part 3 of Art. 322 of the Criminal Code (illegal crossing of the State Border of the Russian Federation by a group of persons by prior agreement) and sentenced him to one year in a strict regime colony. Dmitry Vechkin was also found guilty.
