Pskov: Jehovah's Witness sentenced to six and a half years in prison
61-year-old Gennady Shpakovsky was found guilty of organizing the activities of an extremist organization and financing it. On June 9, 2020, the Pskov City Court found 61-year-old Jehovah's Witness Gennady Shpakovsky guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) and Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremist activities) and sentenced him to six and a half years in prison.

Another criminal case has been initiated against Jehovah's Witnesses in Kabardino-Balkaria
Residents of the city of Maisky are suspected of organizing the activities of an extremist organization. On June 9, 2020, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic reported that a criminal case was initiated in the city of Maisky under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) in relation to local followers of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Trial of the case of three Jehovah's Witnesses begins in Kirov
Alexander Shamov, Andrey Shchepin and Yevgeny Udintsev are accused of organizing the activities of an extremist organization and financing it. On June 4, 2020, in Kirov, the Leninsky District Court began considering the case of three followers of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses: 60-year-old Alexander Shamov, 29-year-old Andrey Shchepin, and 71-year-old Yevgeny Udintsev.
