On August 18, 2020, it became known that during the debate in the Berezovsky City Court of the Kemerovo Region, the prosecutor asked to sentence Hasan Kogut, a follower of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses , accused under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization). Kohut was detained on February 6, 2019, and later placed under house arrest.

Alexander Shabarchin was sentenced to two years in prison, Danila Vasiliev - to one year of probation, and Alexander Etkin - acquitted.
