On October 2, 2020, it became known that in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a criminal case was initiated against Alexander Rakovsky, a 40-year-old follower of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses, under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization) with the application of Part 2 of Art.
