The following is our monthly review of instances of xenophobia and radical nationalism, along with any government countermeasures, for October 2020. This month, two individuals, in Astrakhan and Yekaterinburg, were targeted in ideologically motivated attacks.

On November 9, 2020, the Zavodskoy District Court of Kemerovo recognized Pastor of the New Generation Church Andrey Matyuzhov guilty under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred) and fined him ten thousand rubles.
