A debate has begun on the case of Natalia Krieger, who is accused of continuing the activities of a banned community. On July 12, 2021, the Birobidzhan District Court began debate on the criminal case of Natalia, a follower of the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses Krieger. She is accused under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization) in the continuation of the activities of the banned local community.

A 53-year-old local resident was sentenced to six years in prison. On July 13, 2021, it became known that in Volgograd a court found a 53-year-old supporter of the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' (USSR) guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) and sentenced him to six years in a penal colony. Probably, we are talking about one of the supporters of the "USSR" Alexander Mordovsky.

The ECtHR held that Russian courts had violated the right of Vladimir Karatayev, who was editor-in-chief of the Zakubanye newspaper in 2007, to freedom of expression. 13 July 2021 European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) published the decision on the complaint "Karataev v. Russia".
