The believers had their personal equipment confiscated. The next day, the detained Ildar Urazbakhtin was placed under house arrest by the Kezhemsky District Court on charges of organizing the activities of an extremist organization (part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in January-June 2021, 1,271 terrorist crimes (+ 7.4%) and 603 extremist crimes (+ 36.4%) were registered.

The widow of a deceased Nigerian student received offensive racist messages on social media. On July 20, 2021, it became known that Natalya Eluemonor, the widow of a Nigerian student who died while rescuing a drowning girl in Zelenogradsk on July 17, received racist insults. After the death of her husband, Natalia Eluemonor wrote a farewell post on Instagram. After that, some users began to leave offensive racist messages in the comments.
