On February 2, 2022, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk sentenced 64-year-old Jehovah's Witness Anatoly Gorbunov to six years in prison under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organization of the activities of an extremist organization). In January, the prosecutor's office requested an eight-year sentence for Gorbunov.
