The prosecutor's office has requested punishment for six Jehovah's Witnesses from Kirov
Five believers are required to be sentenced to real terms, another one to a large fine. On May 20, 2022, during a debate in the Pervomaisky District Court of Kirov, a representative of the prosecutor’s office requested real prison terms for Jehovah’s Witnesses Andzhey Onishchuk, Yevgeny and Andrey Suvorkov, Maksim Khalturin and Vladimir Korobeynikov and a fine for Vladimir Vasilyev, and also demanded that their fellow believer Yury Geraskov be found guilty who died in 2020.
