On June 16, 2022, the UK announced the introduction another package of personal sanctions. The list of persons subject to sanctions for support for Russia's actions on the territory of Ukraine, including the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus' Kirill. The sanctions, in particular, provide for the freezing assets, as well as a ban on entry into the UK for those on the sanctions list.

The case of believer Andrei Sazonov under Art. 282.2 and 282.3 of the Criminal Code are returned to the Urai City Court. On January 11, 2024, the court of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra overturned the sentence of Jehovah's Witness Andrei Sazonov under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 (organizing the activities of an extremist organization) and Part 1 of Art.

Previously, Vadim Fedorov was sentenced to six years of suspended imprisonment under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code. On July 27, 2023, the Chelyabinsk Regional Court confirmed the verdict of Jehovah's Witness Vadim Fedorov under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (organizing the activities of an extremist organization). On April 28, 2023, the Ashinsky City Court sentenced the believer to six years of suspended imprisonment.

Vadim Fedorov received a six-year suspended sentence under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code. On April 28, 2023, the Ashinsky City Court of the Chelyabinsk Region sentenced Jehovah's Witness Vadim Fedorov to six years' suspended imprisonment, finding him guilty of organizing the activities of an extremist organization (Part 1, Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code). The public prosecutor asked the court to sentence Fedorov to six and a half years in prison.

Viktor Bondarev is charged under articles on slander and the rehabilitation of Nazism. On June 15, 2022, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region announced the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against a local resident Viktor Bondarev. Bondarev is charged under Part 2 of Art.

Earlier, the court of appeal overturned the sentence of Andrei Sazonov and sent his case for a new trial. On June 10, 2022, the case of Jehovah's Witness Andrei Sazonov was re-received by the Urai City Court under Part 1 of Art. 282.2 (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) and Part 1 of Art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremist activities). In December 2021, the same court found Sazonov guilty and fined him 500,000 rubles.

Earlier, Matrena Spiriadi and Alexander Vergunov were sentenced to suspended sentences. On June 16, 2022, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Khakassia upheld the sentence of Jehovah's Witnesses Matryona Spiriadi and Alexander Vergunov under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization). In April, the Abakan City Court of Khakassia found Spiriadi and Vergunov guilty and sentenced them to two and a half years of probation each.
