In Suzdal, a teenager was sentenced to restriction of freedom for publishing xenophobic video. At the end of July 2022, the Suzdal District Court of the Vladimir Region found the minor guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities).

Server Bariev convicted under Art. 205.2 for publishing material from a newspaper in Arabic. On July 21, 2022, the Southern District Military Court sentenced the Crimean Tatar activist Server Bariev. He was found guilty of promoting terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to a fine of 360,000 rubles. He was also given an additional punishment in the form of a ban on the administration of sites on the Internet for a year and a half.

From September 9 to September 11, 2022, elections of municipal deputies will be held in Moscow. On the eve of the elections, starting from June, acting deputies, district activists and citizens who have declared their intention to participate in the elections are brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public demonstration of prohibited symbols).

The Constitutional Court considers that the ban on the election of "participants" in extremist organizations did not violate the applicants' rights. The Constitutional Court of Russia refused to allow Pskov politicians Lev Shlosberg and Nikolai Kuzmin to consider their complaints about legislative norms that deprive those "involved" in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations from passive suffrage. The relevant rulings were issued by the court on June 28.
