A candidate for deputy of the Pskov City Council was recognized as “involved” in the activities of an extremist organization
The Russian Party of Pensioners for Social Justice succeeded in depriving Anzhelika Pyantkovskaya of her passive electoral right. On August 29, 2022, a court in Pskov withdrew Anzhelika Pyantkovskaya, a candidate for the City Duma, who ran from the Yabloko party, from the election. The reason for removing Pyantkovskaya from the elections was her participation in rallies in support of opposition politician Alexei Navalny in 2021.
