The bill, which was introduced in April by senators Andrei Turchak and deputy Olga Zanko, is aimed at giving the St. George ribbon the status of a symbol of Russia's military glory, determining the procedure for its use and liability for desecration.

On September 20, 2022, it became known that the activists of Soroka Sorokov" was accused of Satanism by Timur Gaziev, the owner of the hairdressing salon "Children's Torture” at VDNKh, the logo of which depicts the devil.
