In March 2023, we learned of only one possible hate-motivated attack - in Makhachkala. In total, since the beginning of the year, we have learned about three victims as a result of similar incidents. The shooting raid carried out by the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) on March 2 in the villages of the Bryansk region caused a great resonance. RDK was created in Ukraine in August 2022 by Russian far-right groups led by Denis Kapustin (Nikitin) .

Konstantin Subach is accused of publishing calls for xenophobic violence on a social network. On April 3, 2023, a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities). According to the case file, 33-year-old Konstantin Subach published xenophobic statements “about representatives of various races, nationalities and social groups” in popular Kuzbass social networks and called for crimes to be committed against them.
