The authorities of St. Petersburg are restoring the temple in Zelenogorsk
On April 4, 2023, it became known that the authorities of St. Petersburg began restoration work on the Kazan Church in Zelenogorsk, which is a cultural monument of federal significance. Restoration is carried out within the framework of the Heritage subprogram. Work began on the facades and domes of the building built in 1915. The restoration is scheduled to be completed in 2024. In Soviet times, the building was used as a food warehouse, in 1989 it was transferred to the Orthodox community.

Sentenced for xenophobic publications calling for violence
A resident of Perm was fined 350 thousand rubles. In March 2023, the Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg sentenced a resident of the Kama region for inciting terrorist and extremist activities. According to a media report, he "called on social networks for the violent overthrow of power, as well as for violence against people from the Caucasus, Transcaucasia and Central Asia." The court found him guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 350 thousand rubles.
