The number of registered extremist crimes has decreased-compared to the record 2022. According to the report, in January-December 2023 2382 terrorist crimes were registered (+6.7 % by 2022).

On February 2, 2024, the Yalta City Court arrested for eight days under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offenses (public display of symbols of an extremist organization) Vyacheslav Bondarenko. He was also fined 35 thousand rubles under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 Code of Administrative Offenses (discrediting the use of Russian armed forces).
