A court in Orenburg sent two employees of an LGBT club to pre-trial detention center in connection with an extremist organization case.
The investigation saw in the club’s activities signs of propaganda for the banned LGBT movement. The initiation of a criminal case was probably the result of the activities of activists of the local Russian community. On March 20, 2024, the Central District Court of Orenburg sent the art director of the local LGBT club Pose, Alexander Klimov, and the establishment’s administrator, Diana Kamilyanova, to pre-trial detention. They are accused under Part 1 of Art.
