On April 19, 2024, it became known that the Minister of Culture of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Irina Levkovich, denied information about the transfer of the building of the Decembrist Museum to the Russian Orthodox Church. Earlier, some media reported that the regional government was discussing the issue of transferring the museum's exhibits to a new building.

On April 16, 2024, the results of the public discussion on the construction of a temple in memory of the participants of the North Military District at the corner of Petersburg Highway and Detskoselsky Boulevard in Pushkin were summed up. Most of the participants in the discussion considered it inappropriate to build a temple in this place. However, district authorities recommended that their votes not be taken into account.

An action against the migration policy of the Russian Federation took place in Moscow, which was carried out by activists of the party “The Other Russia of E. V. Limonova.” Four participants were detained. On April 21, 2024, an action of the party “The Other Russia of E.V. Limonov” “against Russian migration policy” took place in Moscow.

Andrey Maksimov was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 20.3.2 Code of Administrative Offences. On March 16, 2024, the Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar fined Andrey Maksimov 30 thousand rubles under Part 2 of Art. 20.3.2 Code of Administrative Offenses (public calls on the Internet to take actions aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation). The reason was a certain comment by Maksimov in a public post on Telegram, its contents were not given in the court ruling.

A local resident has been charged under Part 3 of Art. 354.1 CC. On April 22, 2024, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the Kurgan region announced the initiation of a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (public desecration of symbols of Russia’s military glory, insult to the memory of defenders of the Fatherland) against a local resident born in 1973. He was detained and then sent to a pre-trial detention center by the court.

Ukrainian citizen Sergei Gulko was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offences. On April 15, 2024, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow arrested Ukrainian citizen Sergei Gulko, studying at Moscow State University, for 12 days. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Administrative Code (public display of prohibited symbols). On April 27, the Moscow City Court approved the arrest.
