After the partial decriminalization of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code, a new article has appeared in the Code of Administrative Offenses - 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity). We collect the decisions made on it into a single list on a monthly basis.

On December 30, 2024, it became known that the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Khakassia, Sergei Sokol, instructed the rules commission to conduct an audit of the deputy from the Communist Party faction Tatyana Yanusik. The reason was a photograph she published, in which she was depicted against the backdrop of a sculpture of the crucified Christ, with his arms outstretched.

On November 2, 2024, it became known that the Solikamsk City Court of the Perm Territory fined a local resident 1 thousand rubles for publishing an image with a swastika on the VKontakte social network.

In the fall of 2023, Russian courts began to consider (and satisfy) the prosecutor’s office’s claims to recognize the beneficiaries and immediate managers of various enterprises, including relatives of the beneficiaries, as “extremist associations.” In some cases, as far as is known, the participants in such associations also included companies they owned and registered abroad.

The decision on treatment was made by the Vyatskopolyansky district court of the region. On July 30, 2024, the Vyatskopolyansky district court of the Kirov region decided to send for forced treatment a local resident who was accused under part 1 of Art. 148 (public actions expressing a clear disrespect for society and committed in order to insult the religious feelings of believers) and part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). On November 1, 2024, it became known that residents of the Moscow districts of Perovo and Novogireevo were again protesting against the construction of a temple in the park on Zeleny Prospekt. The conflict has been going on for many years. Opponents of construction emphasize that they do not object to the appearance of a new temple in the area, but they categorically disagree with the development of even part of the “Afghan” park.

Lika Dyachkina was found guilty three times under the article on demonstrating extremist symbols. On November 2, 2024, the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg reported that the Petrogradsky District Court three times fined St. Petersburg State University Associate Professor Lika Dyachkina two thousand rubles under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or demonstration of prohibited symbols).
