The Novosibirsk court extended the arrest of the ex-head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo region, Sergei Kalinkin. He is accused of extorting shares of the Inskoy Mine, together with the former vice-governors of the region. “The court decided to satisfy the petition of the investigation and extend the period of detention for three months, that is, until November 13, 2017,” the Central District Court of Novosibirsk told Interfax on August 10.
