A deputy of the Irkutsk City Duma from United Russia, released from pre-trial detention center, admitted to complicity in murders
Irkutsk City Duma deputy Alexander Panko confessed to complicity in the murder of two people. His case was terminated due to the statute of limitations. Panko was detained in October 2018 in Irkutsk and taken to Chita. There, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center on charges of involvement in the murder of two people committed by members of the Klyuchevskie gang in the Irkutsk region in 1997.
